This August (2021) I visited my dear old South African neighbour, friend, healer and shaman Jason Schroeder who has been living in Aberdeenshire for the past 25 years in the northeast of Scotland. Jason felt it was time for me to return to the Recumbent Breemie Stone Circle and complete something I started back in 2005.
16 years have passed since Jason first took me to this sacred monument in 2005. That was when I had my first incredible mystical experience within this circle of stones with the labyrinth next to it. Following Jason’s instructions, I first picked up a stone and then laid down my now “sacred” stone into the fabric of the labyrinth and then continued to walk inwards to the centre stone. Here at the very centre and core of the labyrinth, I held the centre stone for a period of 15 minutes whilst the driving rain and incredibly strong wind threw itself down upon me, increasing in it’s strength as I proceeded. Time stood still – the ground shook and pulsed in the manner of the human heart beat.
I will never forget that afternoon and neither will Jason. The first time I walked the labyrinth the heavens opened up and the rain poured down along with an incredible wind which increased in strength as I approached the centre. When I re-traced my steps in reverse the storm had died down and vanished as miraculously as it had appeared ! Stepping out of the labyrinth on that April afternoon back in 2005 the sun was shining with a beautiful rainbow positioned over the recumbent stone showing no signs of the storm I had just walked through. This was a total time warp. Mother Earth had spoken and I was in a new dimension.
In the past 18 months I’ve experienced a sexual renaissance. Hence the importance of my return to the Breemie Circle.
Returning to The Breemie Circle and it’s labyrinth has been a very different experience. Jason explained to me that the energies have now shifted. This time I had to stand in the big stone circle first in order to balance my masculine/feminine energies. Once this process had been completed I made my way to the labyrinth. Instead of offloading and leaving behind my negative energies for Mother Earth to cleanse and heal, I was instructed to give back my unconditional love to Mother Earth. So I gave back to Mother Earth instead of taking from her.
This time it decided to drizzle as we approached this sacred stone monument. But then, we were in Scotland. The drizzle stopped as we drove away.
I’m truly grateful to both Jason and my twin-flame/healer who facilitated my energetic re-awakening back in 2020. These 2 individuals have both in their own ways made this right of passage possible. I also need to thank Boaz, my husband , who brought me back to Aberdeenshire despite my protests.
In summary this is an account of my re-birthing story.

~Addendum~
A Recumbent stone circle is often made up of eleven stones, which includes a horizontal (recumbent) stone which is sided by the two largest standing stones (flankers) From this position the circle continues with the stones decreasing in size until one reaches the furthest point away from the recumbent’s position. When standing inside the circle the view of the recumbent is always facing the South West horizon.
These stones circles have the affect of drawing in positive frequencies to those living near them or who spend time within them, as I have personally experienced.
