Tera-Mai ™ Reiki Courses – In-depth Quality Training Ticehurst in East Sussex
Interested in signing up for a Reiki healing course read on …………………
Here at Your Hands Can Heal School of Healing based in Ticehurst, East Sussex I established the school with the intention of offering Reiki healing students in depth training in order that all students have the opportunity of going onto becoming confident Reiki practitioners themselves. I have been involved in the professional practice of Reiki healing for more than 2 decades and have been teaching and empowering students into Reiki since 2003. It never ceases to amaze me just how few Reiki students who have completed their level 2 training just simply never go onto public practice. So many students are not comfortable using the level 2 symbols and have no idea how to use them. Often the training was completed in just one day, it is such a shame that these experiences stop students from progressing and going out and becoming confident successful healers so that they can go onto to make that difference to those in need of healing. I often end up retraining students simply because they are totally clueless as to how to put a treatment together. Training does take time and these skills do take time but Reiki teachers should be at least giving their students some basic treatment skills. I also often get potential students wanting to sign up for Hands-on Healing or Reiki courses but who are not actually prepared to allocate the necessary time for the training. I can only assume that this is the reason why Reiki teachers think that it is OK to offer fast food training? If this continues Reiki healing will never receive the recognition that it so deserves.
In the past few years the CNHC has brought Reiki under their wing, but what I don’t understand is why potential students don’t look more thoroughly into the contents of the training on offer before making their commitment? To become a verified Reiki practitioner on the CNHC register is not difficult, but you do have to have had some experience in order to pass the exam. The contents of the training is also important, I have been shown many training manuals over the years that just simply lack the necessary material which is so important for confident and effective Reiki practitioners.
Recently whilst teaching “The Energy Workshop” I had 2 students on this workshop who had completed their Usui level 2. These students I discovered sadly were clueless as to how to put a treatment together and after giving them some basic pointers I realised that they actually did not even know how to use their level 2 symbols or know their mantras. It is so important for students to do a little homework before selecting their teacher and to experience a treatment with the teacher before signing up for their course. This allows the student to experience a treatment for themselves, it helps to clear away any energies which might obstruct the learning process and gives the potential student the opportunity to ask the teacher any questions that they may have about the training.
So for those potential Reiki healers out there who would like to learn the ancient art of Hands-on Healing and Reiki do your homework properly before signing up for your course or workshop.
