When should a Reiki healer complete their level 3 Mastership training?
There is no fixed time to this question. It really depends upon each individual.
This level is the teaching level, so therefore it is extremely important that the healer has gained sufficient practical experience. This is absolutely essential for guiding and supporting students that they may teach in the future. The Level 2 Reiki healer is only going to be an effective teacher if they have completed their apprenticeship of being an active and experienced healer. One does not have to be a Reiki Master in order to be a successful healer, that is a complete fallacy.
When a Reiki Level 2 healer feels that they would like to take their level 3 the following questions should be asked:
1. Has this healer understood the meaning of integrity & holding confidentiality?
2. Has this student gained sufficient practical experience as a Reiki healer?
3. Is the healer sufficiently comfortable with all their level 2 tools & healing techniques to explain their uses to others?
The Level 3/Mastership Level is the teacher level, so it is really important that a Reiki healer completes their apprenticeship before taking on that next step of teaching Reiki to others.
